
Pablo Pérez Sanmamed
Double bass player and composer with a deep training and a long professional career. His big production involves music for theatre, cinema, dance, advertising, and audiovisual in general. Requested session musician and member of different groups and ensembles as Crebinsky, Tres Azoteas or Triatone, he has several albums as A priori, Paraphernalia or Airam, Airun. He has participated in many recordings and more than fifty records, and also in a lot of festivals as “WOMAD” in Tenerife; “International Jazz Festival of Getxo”, “Jazzladia Donosita-San Sebastián”, “SONAR”, ”Interceltic Glasgow musical festival”, among others. In addition, he has been nominated or finalist in different contests as “Premios Mestre Mateo” or “Premio de la Música Independiente”.
Furthermore, he has got prizes and awards as best original soundtrack thanks to “Crebinsky” film both in the “16th Festival du Film Espagnol” in Toulouse (France) and in the “Oxaca International Cinema Festival” (Mexico), and the prize to the best european female voices group in the record "Segredo a voces" of Anubía inside of the “Asti International Festival Internacional” (Italy), Cante Bergera, cantare al femminile. In 2013 he obtained the first prize of “Músicas do Mundo” launched by “Músicos ao Vivo”.
